This blog is a resume of what I do like, what I did, what I do, pictures of some of my "meetings". For information, I've been painting for years but I'm not an artist. For me, the word "artist" qualifies the one who lives thanks to his art or someone who has nothing more to learn : to me, there is always something new to discover in art and to learn !

I began oil painting at school at the age of sixteen, by working on Turner's reproductions. Since I've met different teachers and tried various techniques from iconography to abstract but what I like the most is working with different techniques on a same canvas...

Oil painting is what I like the most because it enables to come back on one's work. I'm demanding and never satisfied with what I do. ...

I do like smelling turpentine. To have a pen or a brush in my hand is a satisfaction in itself even when I'm not satisfied with the final result....

Voici quelques unes de mes créations et quelques "rencontres artistiques". Je tiens à préciser que même si j'ai de longues années de peinture et de dessin derrière moi, je considère l'art comme un domaine indéfini où il reste toujours quelque chose à découvrir ou à apprendre ... Il faut savoir toujours se remettre en question, rester humble et garder le sens critique pour avancer!

J'ai découvert la peinture à l'huile, au lycée en seconde, à travers des reproductions de William Turner, devenu depuis mon peintre préféré. Par la suite, j'ai rencontré différents professeurs et essayé différentes techniques allant de l'iconographie à l'abstrait, mais mes préférences vont vers le mélange de techniques sur un même tableau !

J'aime l'odeur de la térébenthine. Avoir un pinceau ou un crayon entre mes mains est une satisfaction même quand le résultat final de mon travail me déplait.....

Je suis à l'écoute de toute critique....
